1 1/2 cups milk (I use skim)
5 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups cooked rice (I use brown)
raisins, if desired (I use about 1/2 cup)
Poor into an 8x8 inch square pan.
Bake at 325°F/ 162°C for 60 minutes
or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
